Manna House is an outreach program established in Thousand Oaks in 1970’s and is operated by community volunteers. Manna House provides non-perishable food items and toiletries for those in need. Items such as pasta, pasta sauce, peanut butter, jams, soups, beans, canned fruits and cereals along with toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner and bath soap, etc. are always needed.
St. Patrick’s parishioners participate in the program by bringing their donations on Sunday morning and placing them in the baskets provided at the front door of the church. Donations are also collected during the week. Just drop them off at the church office. Even our day school students take pride in donating items during their chapel hour. Manna House volunteers collect the donations each Thursday morning. Over the years St. Patrick’s has been a constant source for the Manna House.
